A Journey Rooted in Renewal.

Every piece we create starts with a commitment— to honor the earth, empower communities, and reimagine waste into something remarkable.

STEP 1

Harvesting Hope: Partnering with Farmers.

A collaboration with farmers from places like Kerela and West Bengal to procure agricultural waste—such as discarded banana and tomato crop— that would otherwise pollute waterways or acidify soil. This process not only prevents environmental harm but also empowers farmers with additional income.

STEP 2

Natural Fiber Extraction & Treatment.

The collected crop waste undergoes careful fiber extraction, followed by sterilization and fermentation. These essential steps prepare the natural fibers for further transformation while maintaining their organic integrity.

STEP 3

Forming Eco-Leather Sheets.

Post-treatment, the fibers are processed into durable sheets using natural adhesives like plant-based gums. Vibrant natural dyes are then added, ensuring the leather sheets are both sustainable and beautifully colored.

STEP 4

From Fields to The GreenHyde Workstation.

Once ready, the eco-leather sheets are protected with natural beeswax and oils, ensuring safe transport to us. From here, The GreenHyde begins its craftmanship journey, turning these sheets into premium, conscious leather goods.
